A crucial moment in my life is when a friend asked me why I am a Christian. I did not have a good answer. It has been a great joy for me to research and my journey has turned up the three aspects that have become the theme of this blog: facts, faith and formation. Taken as a whole, the three become difficult to deny.

I am married with three children. Loving my family is the central way I try to live out my faith. I graduated from Furman University with a BA in History and have spent the last 30 years in the insurance industry. I am an aspiring author and hope to publish my findings.
